Drysuit Training with Lancaster Uni
On a wintry day in November John and Alistair met up with Neil, Nick, and his students for some drysuit training.
The first dive was some familiarisation with the drysuit getting buoyancy, direct feed disconnect and reconnect and inversion recovery as well as a little bimbling around getting used to things.
Dive two was more adventurous with a swim around the quarry looking at the sights as well as a practise CBL just to be sure everything is just right. On this dive one team was lucky enough to bump into "Diamondback" the big original Capernwray sturgeon.
Thanks to Nick for the call and to Mattie and the other students for bearing with us. And well done to the students who accomplished so much. hopefully we'll see them all soon doing Sport Diver training.
