JBOD's first trip away this year was to a favourite destination, Eyemouth, where we dive with Marine Quest. We arrived on Good Friday in time for lunch on Good Friday before ropes off. Three divers and their catering staff went to Bailiff Wood for a Sunday bimble. Other than some canoers the car park was deserted so diving was quiet.
Alistair, Alan and Adrian went in and bimblied along the rocky shelf and out over the silt fields to the South before coming back. John, Adrian and Alistair helped out with training the students of Lancaster University in the open water sections of their Sports Diver. This is an excellent example of the BSAC family pulling together allowing JBOD's instructors to hone their skills while helping newer divers progress their underwater careers.
